Elementary:
The Pre-K Student of the Month for March was Paislee Roberts. Paislee always arrives in the morning ready to go to work and complete her morning paper in a timely fashion. She is very kind and polite to everyone. She is calm and patient when waiting for help or working with her classmates. Mrs. Margie Boyer and Mrs Jackie White both say they are so happy to have Paislee in their class. One thing that Paislee wants everyone to know is that she is a big sister! Paislee is the daughter of JaMichael and Vantaysha Roberts.
The Kindergarten Student of the Month for March was Tristyn Johnson. Tristyn has the patience in learning new lessons and does not get frustrated easily. She takes her time and sticks with a goal until it is mastered. She has patience with her classmates when she is peer helping others. Tristyn is the daughter of Tikki Hudson, and she is in Mrs. Rachel Beauchamp’s class.
The 1st Grade Student of the Month for March was Kennethy Horn. Kennethy is very quiet, well mannered, honest and is a dream to have in class. He loves to play with his baby sister when he is home. His favorite subject is PE, and when he gets old enough he wants to work at the Drug Store. Kennethy is the son of Christina Price and he is in Mrs. Jennifer Cecil‘s class.
The 2nd Grade Student of the Month for March was Za’Mykeal Mitchell. Za’Mykeal was chosen as Student of the Month because of the amazing improvement he has made this year. His favorite subject in school is Math because he likes subtracting. After school, he likes to study his Spelling Words and then take a little rest. Za’Mykeal is not sure what he wants to be when he grows up, but he might want to teach school. Za’Mykeal is the son of ZhiKarvan Wilson and the Grandson of Bobbie Wilson and Eric and Miranda Walker. He is in Mrs. Jenny Tanner’s class.
The 3rd Grade Student of the Month for March was J’Nalyah Taylor. J’Nalyah is kind to all her peers, and she comes to school eager to work each day and she gives her best with each assignment. She is very respectful to all her teachers. J’Nalyah is the daughter of Tim Taylor. Her homeroom teacher is Ve’Shun Lacy and her other 3rd grade teachers are Susan McDaniel and Heidi Pritchett.
The 4th Grade Student of the Month for March Kaitlyn Williamson. Kaitlyn is very patient and always volunteers to help out her classmates. Her favorite subject is Science, and her hobbies are painting and drawing. She wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up! Kaitlyn is the daughter of Don and Donna Williamson. Her homeroom teacher is Mrs. Reva Davis, and her other 5th grade teachers are Terra White and Jennifer Morton.
The 5th Grade Student of the Month for March was Yarvion Clark. Yarvion is also known to everyone by “Joe”! Yarvion is a quiet, soft spoken, and patient young man. He is always ready to help others. Yarvion’s best subjects are Science and PE. Yarvion is the son of LaShondra Bledsoe. He is in Mrs. Ashley Burk’s homeroom, and his other 5th Grade teachers are Melba Pahal, Linda Skadowski, and Billie-Jo Bellamy.

Middle School:
The 6th Grade Student of the Month for March was A’Destinee Diggles. A’ Destinee’s favorite subject is Reading and her favorite teacher is Ms. Boyer. She says Ms. Boyer is the best teacher she has because she cares about all her students. A’ Destinee enjoys going to church in her spare time. After graduating she would like to go to college to become a doctor. A’ Destinee is the daughter of Falbert Garrett.
The 7th Grade Student of the Month for March was Keegan Cotten. Keegan’s favorite subjects are Math and Texas History. His favorite teachers are Coach P and his father, Coach Cotten. He is currently in athletics and his favorite sports to play are football and baseball. After graduating Keegan would like to go to college and get a scholarship in football. Keegan is the son of Kendall and Misty Cotten.
The 8th Grade Student of the Month for March was Juan Rodriguez. Juan’s favorite subject is Science. He enjoys his Science class with Coach Daugherty because he is funny and he teaches well. Juan enjoys playing games in his spare time. After graduating he plans to attend TSTC to become a welder.
Juan is the son of Juan Rodriguez Reza and Martha Yanez.

High School:
The 9th Grade Student of the Month for March was Ja’Myia Barnes. Ja’Myia’s teachers say she is courteous, respectful, and a joy to teach. She is very helpful to her peers and is a friend to everyone. Her hobbies include shopping, hanging out with her friends and family. Outside of school Ja’Myia enjoys building different things in the AG Shop, learning and new language, and learning how to do new hairstyles. After High School graduation, Ja’Myia plans on attending college to become a lawyer and eventually owning her own practice. Ja’Myia is the daughter of Tomekia Wade and Jamarticus Barnes.
The 10th Grade Student of the Month is Madison Crane. Madison enjoys art, listening to music, and mudding. Her favorite subjects are art class and athletics. Madison’s favorite teachers are Mr. Porter and Mrs. Mathews because they push her to become a better student and person. Madison is currently involved in the Art Club.
After graduating from high school, she plans to attend HBCU College or Sam Houston State University to become an OB-GYN or an RN. Madison is the daughter of Stacy McClelland and JJ Crane.
The 11th Grade Student of the Month for March was Skyler Jones. Skyler enjoys playing tennis, drawing, and swimming in his free time. He is currently involved in tennis, band, and the Art Club. Skyler’s favorite class is Art with Mrs. Meier because she always challenges him to improve. After graduating, Skyler plans on attending an Art college emphasizing in digital art. Skyler is the son of Kathy Bell.
The 12th Grade Student of the Month for March was Eric Moreno. Eric enjoys playing video games and 3D modeling. He is currently involved in student council, FFA, TSA, and Interact club. His favorite class is Computer Science and his favorite teacher is Mr. Jesse Harrison. He says Mr. Jesse teaches them a lot of useful skills that they can use in the real world. Eric plans to attend TSTC to obtain a degree in Computer Networking. Eric is the son of Nazaria and Aurelio Moreno.
