Nevaeh was a finalist placing 7th in the final round of the Prose Interpretation contest at the recent UIL Academics Region III meet. An impressive accomplishment for this SAHS 9th grader as there were 192 in all that competed in her event across all 8 Districts in our Region. What a great start for Nevaeh! She is already looking forward and preparing for next year's contest with eyes on a top finish! So PROUD of you! CONGRATULATIONS!

Starting May, 2025 the posted breakfast menus are different for the HS/MS and Elementary. Lunch menu remains the same for both.

The SAHS computer science team is headed to Austin as they captured the 2025 2A Computer Science Region 3 CHAMPIONSHIP! This is the 5th consecutive year that SAHS has won the Regional Computer Science championship! Team pictured as follows: Alex Fabian 3rd at Regions, Josh Oglesby - 2nd at regions, Autumn McCallum, Captain Miguel Mendoza - 1st at Regions, Pasin Prakasukarn and Katie Parrish - 5th at Regions (not shown are team members Terry Cooper, Danny Mendoza and Josh Amburn). CONGRATULATIONS to the ENTIRE TEAM and GOOD LUCK at STATE!!!

Four players from our SAHS Tennis Team have advanced to the Regional tennis competition. They are Autumn McCallum - 1st in District Girls Singles, Miguel Mendoza - 2nd in District Boys Singles and Aura Hernandez and Danny Mendoza who finished 1st in Mixed Doubles. Also, in district play, Josh Oglesby and Terry Cooper finished 3rd in Boys Doubles while Juliette Maincent and Chloe Amburn also finished 3rd in Girls Doubles. Other team members include Josh Amburn, Alex Fabian, Pasin Prakasukarn and Basile Martello. Both our boys and girls teams finished 2nd in the District contest! CONGRATULATIONS to our entire SAHS Tennis Squad on a GREAT SEASON and GOOD LUCK at the May 9th Regionals !!

All schools and offices will be closed April 18 and April 21. Enjoy a festive and safe Easter and we will see everyone back on Tuesday, April 22nd!

!! The April School Board meeting has been moved back one day to April 14 - Next Monday !!

I hope this message finds you well. As your Interim Superintendent, I feel it is important to address recent changes regarding the restructuring of grade levels within our district. After much careful consideration and in response to the financial challenges we face, San Augustine ISD has decided to combine the 6th grade with the elementary school and to move the 7th and 8th grades to the secondary campus.
