TEA Solar Eclipse Safety Announcement

On Monday, Aug. 21, our state will experience a partial solar eclipse. Given the infrequency of such an event, it is understandable that many Texas educators may elect to use this day as a learning opportunity for students. While such outside-the-classroom experiences enhance learning for students at all grade levels, I want to encourage our educators to take the proper safety precautions. Wolfpack 5 Straight Wins before bowing out in Quarterfinals at State 7 on 7 Tourney

The Wolves won ALL three games in their Pool (over Rockdale, Liberty and Dublin) to make it to the Championship bracket where they won two more games (over Palestine and Lexington) before falling to China Springs in the quarter-finals of the State Tourney. Awesome achievement and CONGRATULATIONS Wolfpack on reaching the State tournament and then finishing in the top-8 in the State out of 64 teams! Click the pic to see all the scores in the tournament!

Wolves 7 on 7 Team Headed to College Station State Tournament!

The Wolf Pack's 7 on 7 football team went undefeated in the Spring Hill qualifying tournament besting Union Grove 37-7, Center 27-12 and host Spring Hill 33-26 and then won over Palestine 33-28 to advance to the state tournament being held in College Station at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex on June 29th and 30th (Thursday and Friday). Free Summer Meals Program for Children 18 and Younger thru August 10th!

Starting Tuesday, May 31st, the High School cafeteria is serving free healthy meals to children 18 and younger from Monday thru Thursday during the summer. Breakfast from 7 to 8 am and lunch from 11 to 1 pm. Meals will not be served on the 4th of July (a Tuesday). Participants enjoy meals and there are no registration or identification requirements. Kids simply show up to receive a healthy meal at no cost.
